Joshua Alex I. Llander

Software Developer | B.S. in Computer Science

I am a Computer Science graduate with professional experience in web and desktop application development and system support. I have hands-on experience using PHP (Laravel), HTML, CSS, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Visual Basic (.NET/VB6), and Crystal Reports. I am proficient in SQL scripting for reporting and data analysis, with working knowledge of Python, Java, C, C++, and C#. I perform best in backend development, system enhancement, application support, and structured problem-solving.

  • Bicol University - University Registrar's Office
  • Computer Programmer (Intern)
    • Led and assessed team members in learning Python programming language by handing out learning materials and YouTube videos
    • Utilized Python programming language to develop a tool that assigns incoming online requests to designated office staffs and Colleges
    • Communicated with the Office Programmer to gather information about software specifications and requirements and collaborated with team consisting of 5 members in planning, developing, and testing so that the specifications and requirements are met
  • June 2021 - August 2021 | Albay, Philippines
  • BUCEILS High School Online Voting System
  • System Analyst
    • Administered 6 teams of 33 members to develop an Online Voting System for the school’s 2021 SSG Elections, achieving 73 to 93 percent of voter turnout on different grade levels out of 300+ students
    • Conducted and participated in meetings to communicate both with the client and team leaders to determine the project requirements, monitor the project developmental progress, and ensure that the requirements are achieved at the end of the project
    • Designed a Data Flow Diagram (DFD) that serves as guide to the team members in developing the web system and to make the client understand and check the correctness of web system components being developed

  • Backend Security Developer
    • Constructed a PHP script for user session such as authentication, termination, access control, and access logs to ensure that the website is accessed only by authorized users (Admin and Students)
    • Installed Google CAPTCHA on the login page to secure the website from bots
